The Business Marketing Association of the Hudson Valley (BMA-HV) takes pleasure in honoring the first annual recipients of the BMA-HV Marketing Leadership Award— the Chamber of Commerce directors of the counties the chapter serves:
Dutchess: Charles North
New Paltz Regional: Joyce Minard
Orange: John D’Ambrosio
Ulster: Ward Todd
This award recognizes the extraordinary contributions these dedicated public servants have made to the economic growth of the Hudson Valley. Their efforts have leveraged the natural and entrepreneurial resources of the region to bring people and investment to this area while maintaining the distinctive qualities that make our region so attractive.
Guest Speaker Frank DeRaffele, Jr. Founder and President, ProActive Leadership Center, spoke about Self Branding and Networking. This session focused on the importance of selling oneself, of building trust over time so that clients and customers buy not only the product or service being offered, but more importantly, the unique individual who is standing behind it.
The awards were presented at a special breakfast meeting at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel.
