Richard I. Kean, CBC, is the Managing Partner, Business Marketing Institute (BMI) and the associate director of the Institute for Study of Business Markets (ISMB). Richard has spent his entire career in business-to-business marketing and communications. He is the founder of the Business Marketing Institute, where marketing professionals can enhance their knowledge and skills. In addition to his work with BMA, BMI, and ISBM, he has served as Group Publisher of American Marketing Assocation publications, which is the preeminent publisher in the field of marketing, and the VP/Publisher for various Crain Communications publications. He is also a superb education and very enthusiastic about sharing his comprehensive marketing knowledge. Richard shared the most important of the B2B marketing skills, techniques, and core principles he has learned (or, in some cases, initiated) over the years. Among other things, participants learned the nine most important ways to improve sales responses; proven approaches to writing copy that sells; key techniques to improve the execution of marketing projects; and how to use ’show what you know’ techniques to beat the competition.
