Dinner Meeting: Event Marketing

Dyana Baker is the Theme Program Manager Mohonk Mountain House a resort in New Paltz, New York.  She coordinates Yoga and Meditation Weekend, The Art of Chocolate, Music Week and many other programs provided for the resort’s guests.  Dyana also gained event planning experience as The Special Events Coordinator for the Quechee Club in Quechee, Vermont.

Dyana graduated in 2005 from the State University of New York at Cortland with a Cum Laude Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreation with a concentration in Program Delivery.   She was involved in the Student Activities Board, providing campus-wide events and activities.  Since graduating, she has volunteered as a Compeer Mentor, and as a Venue Manager for the Woodstock Film Festival. Dyana is excited to be participating in her first marathon as a member of Team in Training- benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Dyana will discuss the basics of creating, organizing, funding, marketing and implementing events.
